What last week lacked in marquee matchups, it made up in some tight games and a few undefeated teams falling. This week does serve up some great games as the Big Ten gets into gear with two games featuring top-20 teams facing off.
Undefeated Michigan and Michigan State face off in one of the biggest games this rivalry has had in decades. Ohio State shows its high octane offense off against Penn State. The other matchup of ranked teams features Ole Miss at Auburn. There’s also a little cocktail party going to happen in Jacksonville that will feature the top-ranked team in the nation.
As we reach Halloween weekend and November lurks, it is time to separate the pretenders from the contenders. The playoff is wide open with so many great games still to come. The Heisman race is anyone’s guess. There is so much to play for that this will be a fun final few weeks of the season.
