Daniel Radcliffe & Lucas Hedges Cast in Vietnam War Thriller Movie Trust the Man

Daniel Radcliffe and Lucas Hedges have been cast in a new thriller movie set during the Vietnam War, Trust the Man.

Trust the Man comes from director Will Graham, who has directed episodes of Daisy Jones & The Six, A League of Their Own, and Mozart in the Jungle. Graham also wrote the screenplay for the movie.

What do we know about the Trust the Man movie?

Per Deadline, “The thriller follows an ambitious Army Intelligence officer during the Vietnam War assigned to investigate a decorated soldier with a mysterious past. As surveillance and interrogation deepen, the line between loyalty and obsession blurs, leading both men into a dangerous and uncontrollable connection.”

Neon International will introduce Trust the Man at the European Film Market in Berlin next week for foreign sales rights, while UTA Independent Film Group will represent the United States rights.

Graham produces the movie alongside Max Linsky, Tonia Davis, Jeffrey Soros, Luke Rodgers, and Hailey Wierengo.

Radcliffe is best known for playing the titular character in Warner Bros. Pictures’ Harry Potter film series. He has also been in movies such as 2012’s The Woman in Black, 2013’s Horns, 2016’s Swiss Army Man, 2017’s Jungle, 2019’s Guns Akimbo, and 2022’s The Lost City. Additionally, he portrayed Walter Mabry in 2016’s Now You See Me 2 and will soon be seen reprising the role in the third movie in the franchise, Now You See Me 3, which will be released later this year.

Hedges has stared in movies such as 2012’s Moonrise Kingdom, 2016’s Manchester by the Sea, 2017’s Lady Bird, 2017’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, 2018’s Boy Erased, 2018’s Ben Is Back, 2019’s Honey Boy, 2020’s French Exit, and more. His latest film — Eva Victor’s Sorry, Baby — premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month.
