Finally! We get a look at Dead Island 2. The Deep Silver game has been on hiatus for longer than I can recall. So, seeing an entire fifteen-minute gameplay short is a very welcome sight. Especially since the first gore-filled and blood-soaked footage is taking us to the center of Hell-A.
The Hell-A edition comes with the following features:
- Exclusive SteelBook® with game disc
- Expansion Pass
- Venice Beach Travel Map
- Six Slayer Tarot Cards
- Two Pin Badges
- A DI2 Patch
- Golden Weapons Pack
- Pulp Weapons Pack
- Character Packs 1 & 2
The Memories of Banoi Pack includes:
- Banoi War Club
- Memories of Banoi Baseball Bat
- Weapon Perk – “Balanced”
- “Personal Space” Skills Card
The description of Dead Island 2 goes like this:
Today’s showcase featured a live-action pulp-adventure starring three fictional characters set in a similar universe to Dead Island 2. With the military long gone, we follow the fearless survivors as they search for a safe haven from the virus outbreak and zombie hordes. As they roam the supposedly abandoned mansion of a local video game and movie producer in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, they’ll soon discover that nowhere is safe.
Dead Island 2 is a FPS action-RPG set in a hellish yet stylish and vibrant gore-drenched vision of Los Angeles, nicknamed HELL-A. The series’ unique formula, dark humor, and over the top zombie-slaying action returns with all the swagger and charisma you’d expect from the Dead Island franchise.
Dead Island 2 drops April 28, 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and on PC via the Epic Games Store.
