Emily Ratajkowski Finally Addresses That Harry Styles Makeout Session!

Emily Ratajkowski is opening up about her dating life — including that kiss with Harry Styles!

By now you know, she and the 29-year-old singer had the internet going wild after a video of them passionately making out on the streets of Tokyo surfaced last month. The steamy kiss no doubt shocked everyone. However, the pair might have been seeing each other for a lot longer than anyone expected as Emily seemingly revealed they’d been dating for two months (!!!) on a March 9 podcast episode of Going Mental With Eileen Kelly.

While Harry has remained quiet about the viral smooch, a source previously told Us Weekly “has always been very attracted to Emily.” But what does EmRata have to say about the moment between them in Tokyo? Well, the 31-year-old model finally addressed (sort of) the steamy makeout session with Harry in a new interview with The Los Angeles Times!

Around the time of the 2023 Versace show and the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Emily told the outlet that she was not focused on men at the time, explaining:

“I’m really just not thinking about guys. I’m working, I’m a single mom. I’ve been so busy that it’s easy not to think about.”

But as The Los Angeles Times noted, two weeks later the photos and videos of her liplock with the former One Direction band member hit the internet. Since then, there have been plenty of headlines about the whole situation, including the fact that Emily was begging for forgiveness from her friend and Harry’s ex-girlfriend Olivia Wilde. There was also the wild rumor from the celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi on Instagram that the trio had a threesome at one point.

It is still unknown how Emily and Harry’s makeout came to be. But when The Los Angeles Times reached out to the iCarly alum about the situation, she said in a voice note from Japan that not everything is as it seems and “sometimes things just happen”:

“There’s a million insane, inaccurate things about my relationships [that are said]. I’m definitely still not thinking about guys. Although, yeah. You know, sometimes things just happen.”

Ugh! That is really all we get?

Elsewhere in the interview, Emily also touched on her previous relationships – including with her estranged husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. Calling the past year “horrifying” for her, the momma of one decided not to talk about the divorce too much as she was worried about losing custody of their son Sylvester:

“I’m scared. I’m learning that outspoken women don’t often get their children.”

Ever since breaking up with the film producer, Emily has been making headlines for her dating life (obvi lol) as she’s been romantically linked to Pete Davidson and Eric Andre. She recalled a moment from her short-lived romance with the 40-year-old comedian when he continuously praised his exes’ good looks but never commented on Emily’s appearance. It reached the point where she had to ask him if he even thought she was pretty, explaining to The Times:

“So I said, ‘What do you think of me? And he was like, ‘Are you serious? You’re a famous model.’ I was like, ‘Wow, you don’t get it.’ I need to know that you are specifically attracted to me. Beauty is totally subjective. I don’t care how much it’s validated by a standard.”

Yikes. Although the Gone Girl star never mentions Eric by name, the outlet determined who she was talking about at the time. It is no wonder why she ended things so quickly after the two went Instagram official and moved on with Harry if The Eric Andre Show star would not stop talking about his exes!
