It’s been over a month since Beyoncé has posted on her Instagram timeline, and it was worth the wait. On Saturday evening, the pop icon shared her outfit for a lunch date with her husband Jay-Z this weekend. Her purple patterned bodycon dress hugged every curve, and opened in a slit up the skirt that was then detailed with a series of buttons. Her black lace bra peeked out from under the dress’s spaghetti straps.
The outfit was made slightly more formal with a pair of gloves in the same floral pattern, over which she wore several white bangles. She let her long honey-colored hair hang down, and wore a bright red lip, gold hoop earrings and carried a small black purse. When Beyoncé wore the outfit out, she slung a black blazer over her shoulders and wore a black mask.

Her husband was wearing an intricately patterned shirt of abstract organic shapes in black, white and red. He paired it with grey slacks and white sneakers, and some round sunglasses.
Two weeks ago, Page Six reported that Beyoncé had landed in Portofino, Italy, on the same weekend that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker held their third marriage ceremony with all of their friends and family. However, no pictures have emerged of the Carters at the nuptial celebrations. Beyoncé and Jay-Z seem to have been enjoying traveling together over the past few months and not spending as much time in the spotlight.
In May, she skipped the Met Gala for a trip to Miami and a private island off the coast of Florida. Her last big public event was the Academy Awards. But Beyoncé gave an interview to Harper’s Bazaar in September 2022 about the ways in which her relationship to her herself now that she’s turned 40 has changed.
“I’ve spent so many years trying to better myself and improve whatever I’ve done that I’m at a point where I no longer need to compete with myself,” she said. “I have no interest in searching backwards. The past is the past. I feel many aspects of that younger, less evolved Beyoncé could never f*ck with the woman I am today. Haaa!”
