Kylie Jenner is finally filling everyone in on the drama surrounding her son’s name.
Back in February, she and Travis Scott welcomed a little boy and shortly after, announced they had named him Wolf.
But just a month later, Kylie shared that the couple had decided to change the baby’s name — without revealing the new name they chose.
It turns out that Kylie wasn’t all that invested in the name Wolf from the very beginning.
“We really didn’t have a name. I just thought it was gonna just come to us when we saw him. And it didn’t,” Kylie said on the latest episode of The Kardashians.
Things really got down to the wire when she needed a name in order to sign the baby’s birth certificate.
“We had to sign the birth certificate — or else they register him without a name or Social Security number — so, I felt the pressure to choose a name,” Kylie shared.
Kylie’s older sister Khloé Kardashian suggested the name Wolf, and Kylie said she “liked the WW” — referencing Travis’ last name, Webster.
“We put Wolf Webster in that moment, and right after I signed the birth certificate, I was like, ‘What did I just do?'” Kylie admitted.
As for the baby’s name now? Kylie says the couple think they have an official name, but it’s still kind of a work in progress.
“Travis actually still changes his name a few times. He’ll come back and be like, ‘I really like this name.’ And then, for the day, he’ll call him that,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘We can’t do this again.'”
For now, they’re waiting to legally change things on the baby’s birth certificate and are holding off on telling others until they’re completely sure.
Fingers crossed Kylie reveals his name at some point during this season of The Kardashians!
