“I’ve set really good boundaries, but then after work, I’m going right to my daughter.”
Serena Williams is a proud parent to her 4-year-old daughter, Olympia.
But even tennis legends can feel like they’re just not doing enough when it comes to parenting.

In a recent interview with Insider, Serena talked about the “mom guilt” she feels when it comes to balancing personal time with taking care of Olympia.
“Mom guilt is real,” she said. “I always feel so guilty when I’m doing something on my own.”
“I don’t know if I’m a good mom, and I don’t know if my method works, but I’m very hands-on with my daughter, and it was the same with our parents.”
“I’ve set really good boundaries, but then after work, I’m going right to my daughter.”
And as we recently learned, sometimes Serena heads home to hit some balls with Olympia too.
Earlier this year, she shared a video of Olympia firing off a killer backhand with the caption, “Progress makes better.”
Nothing like enjoying some quality time with the family.
