Wednesday is a smash hit over at Netflix. It has managed to hit several records and racked up a ton of watches over the Thanksgiving holiday window. Not surprisingly, Tik Tok users have focused on The Addams Family’s butler and placed eagle-eyed attention on actor, George Burcea’s eyes in episode one versus the actor in the last episode. The wild fan theory suggests that Lurch may not be who you think he is.

In the first episode, Lurch is seen with a very glassy eye as part of his character. In the final episode, however, we can see that Lurch’s eyes are now in fact a different color. The glassy eye is gone altogether.
Fans are guessing that this might actually be Larrisa Weems shapeshifting into Lurch for an unknown reason. We won’t go further than saying that considering that there may be spoilers involved if we talk about character specifics in the finale.
Could it be that the Lurch we see in the final episode is actually someone else? Well, there is no way of telling at the moment. But, the theory is an off-the-wall one. It is entirely possible that the lighting hit in such a way that eyes only appeared different. It is entirely possible that the pilot episode was produced differently than that of the finale.
I guess we are going to have to wait to see if Wednesday is given a season 2 in order to find out if this fan theory has any weight.
