Netflix recently released a trailer for an upcoming psychological horror film that looks terrifying. The Strays trailer gives us just enough to start spiraling with endless possibilities but nothing concrete. This is another reason we are dying to know anything about this mysterious gem.

In the film, an upper-middle-class woman’s perfectly crafted life begins to unravel with the arrival of two shadowy figures in her town.
The Strays is written and directed by Nathaniel Martello-White. This is Martello-White’s first feature-length film. It stars Ashley Madekwe, Justin Salinger, Caroline Martin, Michael Warburton, and Bukky Bakray.
Watch The Trailer For The Strays
The Strays trailer is leading lots of people to make comparisons to movies in the A24 and Monkeypaw catalogs. However, I think it’s going to be its own thing and have a different commentary than anything it has been compared to yet. Either way, happy to see a WOC leading what seems to be an eerie movie coming to disturb our peace.

The Strays seems like an unsettling ride set in the UK, but aside from the trailer, the streamer is keeping it quiet when it comes to details. Netflix only just recently announced that it would drop in February. We are running on creepy string music underscoring the trailer and some heavily disturbing vibes. However, it looks like a scary ride, and we need it now!
