Both creators of Netflix’s hit, Wednesday have gone on record to say that they have a whole lot more planned for the series. In fact, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar both said that they have a good three to four seasons prepared if they are given the green light to do more.
One of the most interesting things about their plans to continue the series is that the rest of The Addams Family will play a bigger role in future seasons.
“For us, it’s always looking at the future, and when we sit down to create a show, it’s looking at multiple seasons, ideally,” Millar said. “So you always lay out at least three or four seasons’ worth of potential storylines for the characters. It can evolve and change. Often, you want to see which characters or cast pop and who you like to write for. So you want to keep it open and organic enough to change it and evolve, but we certainly have a pretty clear runway of what we want to do in future seasons.”
Of course, our main concern is that Tim Burton won’t come back to direct more episodes. He is a huge part of this entire thing working out like it did. So, he is a very vital part of the Wednesday cocktail.
It also isn’t clear if Jenna Ortega would come back to do more seasons. So, at the moment future seasons are very much up in the air at the moment.
Would you like to see more seasons of Wednesday?
