American Gangster comes directed by Ridley Scott and was written by Steven Zaillian. The film is based on the book The Return of Superfly by Mark Jacobson. The movie stars Denzel Washington, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Josh Brolin, Ted Levine, Armand Assante, John Ortiz, John Hawkes, RZA, and Ruby Dee.
