It doesn’t happen very often that a movie can terrify you to the level that it affects your emotional well-being. It first happened in The Exorcist (1973), Jaws (1975), and then The Blair Witch Project (1999). It wasn’t until 2014 that Adam Robitel’s The Taking of Deborah Logan was able to recapture that collective terror with his effective sleeper hit.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, on October 21 Terror Films working with Alamo Drafthouse will hold special screenings of this modern masterpiece in Los Angeles and New York City, both are nearly sold out. After the Los Angeles screening, there will be a live Q&A with the film’s director, Adam Robitel, his writing partner, Gavin Heffernan, stars Jill Larson and Anne Ramsay, as well as co-producer Dana Guerin.
iHorror was given exclusive access of this news and we are honored to bring it to you, the fans.
