Jennifer Lopez just took the typical airplane outfit to new levels of chic, per her recent Instagram post. The singer, whose documentary “Halftime” aired on Netflix last week, shared a video of herself strutting down an airplane runway in a silky white pant set that fans in the comments dubbed pajamas. The two-piece ensemble consisted of a long-sleeved, spread-collar blouse and ankle-length pants, both coordinates printed with a watercolor hummingbird motif all over. It’s the design of emerging Los Angeles-based luxury menswear brand Nahmias, founded in 2018 by self-taught designer Doni Nahmias.
With its relaxed fit and luxurious look, the silk charmeuse outfit flowed beautifully as Lopez made her way to the private plane. She added height with her white six-inch Gucci leather T-strap pumps and took the glam up a notch with a hot-pink Valentino Small One Stud Nappa Handbag, matching pink-framed sunglasses with purple lenses by Quay, and gold hoops. “Travels,” she captioned the post, although another user might have proposed a more accurate description when he wrote “JetLo .”
The multihyphenate set a new standard for plane rides, presenting a look that blended style and comfort seamlessly. She tapped into the loungewear trend that’s gained momentum during the pandemic and combined it with one of summer’s biggest color trends: hot-pink everything.
