The fearless and unapologetic Lizzo has definitely shocked the public opinion with her latest move. She displayed the AI-looked children’s picture books as a part of her post on social media. Among the very dramatic titles were “My Baby Daddy Is A Labubu From Hell” and “Dre’Cula” etc. Lizzo, however, didn’t seem interested in the horror genre only, as she also tagged author Quan Millz and wrote to him, “HELP YALL! MY BABY DADDY IS A LABUBU FROM HELL😳 @quanmillzbooks let Halloween mess began 😭.” Thus, the post immediately grabbed a lot of attention and criticism with the majority of people concerned about the AI usage instead of Halloween theme.
The audience reaction was rapid and largely negative. There were many comments from the viewers expressing their discontent that Lizzo would still prefer AI through this high-tech channel, the one that has been around for so long and has been given so much.
