Loot Trailer: Maya Rudolph Leads Apple TV+’s Next Workplace Comedy

Apple TV+ has dropped the official trailer for Loot, an upcoming workplace comedy series starring Maya Rudolph as a recently divorce billionaire. It is scheduled to make its debut on June 24 with the first three episodes.

The Loot trailer, which you can check out below, features Molly Novak who divorces her husband of 20 years after finding out that he’s cheating on her with a younger woman. As she deals with the heartbreak, Molly discovers that she actually has a charity foundation, which will serve as a new opportunity for her to restart her life.

Loot is created, written, and executive produced by Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard. The series stars Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live), Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Pose), Ron Funches (Undateable), Nat Faxon (Married), and Joel Kim Booster (Sunnyside).

“Billionaire Molly Novak has a dream life, complete with private jets, a sprawling mansion, and a gigayacht – anything her heart desires,” reads the synopsis. “But when her husband of 20 years betrays her, she spirals publicly, becoming fuel for tabloid fodder. She’s reaching rock bottom when she learns, to her surprise, that she has a charity foundation run by the no-nonsense Sofia Salinas, who pleads with Molly to stop generating bad press. With her devoted assistant Nicholas by her side, and with the help of Sofia and team – including mild-mannered accountant Arthur and her optimistic, pop-culture-loving cousin Howard – Molly embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Giving back to others might be what she needs to get back to herself.”

Rudolph executive produces, along with Natasha Lyonne and Danielle Renfrew Behrens, through their Animal Pictures. Dave Becky of 3 Arts also serves as executive producer. Loot is produced for Apple by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
