While Marvel Studios and Disney set more release dates for some of their most highly anticipated films, a recent report from The Cosmic Circus suggests that the fourth Spider-Man film could be coming sooner rather than later.

According to their latest report, sources have told them that the fourth Spider-Man film will release on July 12, 2024. Obviously, due to the ever-changing nature of release dates in Hollywood, that should be taken with a grain of salt, but should the report be true, a 2024 release date would see the return of Tom Holland in the Spider-Man suit much sooner than many anticipated.
A 2024 release date for Spider-Man 4 would also place it right at the end of the MCU’s Phase 5, which as of now, is set to include six other films, the first of which is the 2023 Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The report goes on to mention that the film could take place following the aftermath of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, and could also include the symbiote Venom, following a piece of the symbiote finding its way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Whether or not any of these plot points find their way into the film remains to be seen, but it does seem like Marvel Studios and Sony are slowly looking to incorporate some of the more iconic Spider-Man characters in the films.
