On the 2022 Met Gala red carpet, 19-year-old pop star Olivia Rodrigo served us major Y2K-era beauty queen vibes with her waist-length messy curls adorned with oversized purple butterfly clips. The whimsical custom hair accessories were a special collaboration between luxury headpiece designer Jennifer Behr and fashion design icon Betsey Johnson for the big night. Now, Rodrigo’s beauty look is even easier to replicate with the drop of a limited-edition capsule collection this past week by Behr and Johnson for purchase. Handcrafted with details like printed silk organza and Swarovski crystals, the two-piece collab includes the large silk Gala Bobby Pin and small Gabby Bobby Pin.
Rare Beauty launches new matte lipsticks and lip liners

Shopping around for a new signature lip colour? Rare Beauty, the makeup brand founded by Selena Gomez, has released two new lip products: the Kind Words Matte Lipsticks and Lip Liners. The brand new lipsticks come in 10 shades and their pigment-rich, matte formulas were developed to be long lasting and feel soft on the lips. The liners, which feature a built-in sharpener, also come in 10 shades that match the lipsticks. “I wanted to create a classic lipstick that’s truly comfortable,” Gomez shared in a press release. “Every shade is easy and wearable, and just perfect for every day.”
