Sometimes you need a vacation to help reset your mind and body. But in Christian Schultz‘s new film Presence, a last-minute yacht trip is anything but relaxing. In this chilling thriller, a woman grapples with what’s real, what’s in her head, and if the things she’s seeing are truly out to get her.

After leaving New York after a mental breakdown, Jennifer is contacted by her best friend about good news concerning their joint business venture. Within the hour, Jennifer is boarding a private plane and walking down the dock to a billionaire’s private yacht.
All seems well, except that Jennifer is plagued by violent, unsettling visions. Is her unchecked anxiety attempting to self-sabotage her once again… or has a sinister presence latched onto her?

XYZ Films’ EVP of US Distribution James Shapiro said, “Presence is a smart and complex adult thriller that is perfect for date night. It’ll have everyone at the edge of their seats and we’re really excited to be partnering with Christian to get his film out to audiences!”
Schultz co-wrote the screenplay for Presence with Peter Ambrosio. Jenna Lyng Adams (The Kominsky Method), Dave Davis (The Vigil), and Alexandria DeBerry star in the film. Donny Broussard, Thomas Johnston, Isaiah LaBorde, Murray Anthony Roth, and John Paul Summers served as producers.
Presence comes to VOD on November 17, 2022.
