Suni Lee glammed up for her 19th birthday, ringing in her last year as a teen in a special little black dress. On Wednesday, the Olympic gold medalist shared a glimpse at her party look on Instagram. In the photos, she posed adorably in a black strapless minidress with a plunging U neckline, which she simply paired with her signature Olympic-rings necklace. “More lifeee ,” she wrote, alongside the snaps.
The night before, Lee wore a more casual outfit for her birthday dinner, consisting of a sheer lace bodysuit tucked into straight-leg jeans. She completed the ensemble with a white YSL purse and a black leather bomber jacket. It’s not often we see Lee without her leotards and track jackets, particularly during the collegiate season, but off the mat, the gymnast has a playful yet sporty sense of style.
Every now and then, Lee, who recently launched a new activewear collection with PrettyLittleThing, swaps out her athleisure for a special event. At the 2021 Sports Illustrated Awards in December, Lee wore a black dress from Haleia embellished with an oversize red flower appliqué as she was honored as athlete of the year. Back in September, while promoting “Dancing With the Stars,” she also sported a fun, bright-pink dress with an open back and giant bow from Rebecca Vallance.
