The episode begins with a wolf hunting a cocker spaniel and a piglet. The two friends are lucky: the wolf gets a thorn in its paw, and is forced to give up the hunt. After this dangerous incident, the cocker spaniel tries to persuade the piglet to do some training in order to be quicker.
