But these are pieces “to be cherished,” as the brand itself says. Khaite is not trend-led by shapes, material or colours—these are timeless items that look as expensive as they are.

Somehow, the brand’s creative director, Catherine Holstein, seems to know exactly what we actually want to wear before we even realise it ourselves. Khaite hits the perfect balance between femininity and the practicality that comes from masculine dressing. Shirts are integral to the line but always have a pretty twist. Blazers are oversized, but the jeans hug in all the right places.
