ComingSoon is exclusively debuting The Other People trailer for the upcoming psychological horror movie. The film stars Lyndie Greenwood, Bryce Johnson, Valentina Lucido, and more, and marks the directorial debut of Chad McClarnon.
The official synopsis for The Other People reads, “In a town plagued with sudden deaths and missing persons, Rachel (Greenwood) meets and quickly marries grieving single dad William, and the two set out to provide a stable, comfortable life for his troubled eight-year-old daughter Abby. When Abby makes friends with a boy that lives in the hidden corners of their new home, she learns why things that live in the dark don’t want to be seen. As Rachel strives to understand and face the terror that grips Abby, William becomes more self-involved. Losing sleep and fighting to save her marriage and her stepdaughter, Rachel grows increasingly suspicious of the strange noises and ghoulish shadows scratching at the edges of her sanity. Faced with unspeakable tragedy, Rachel has no choice but to press beyond what she can bear if they have any hope to survive.”

What do we see in The Other People trailer?
The Other People trailer shows the character of Rachel settling into a town plagued by sudden, mysterious deaths. After meeting single father William, Rachel marries him and takes on the role of stepmother to his eight-year-old daughter, Abby.
Soon, the little girl establishes a bond with a boy living in the hidden corners of her new home and discovers why things living in the dark refuse to be seen. As Rachel tries to save her stepdaughter and her marriage, she begins experiencing unsettling noises and haunting shadows that push her to the edge.
The ensemble cast of The Other People also includes Quinnlan Ashe, B.D. Boudreaux, and Ashley Crow. Inspired by true events, the movie blends “family drama, psychological suspense, and relentless horror into an unforgettable experience where the most frightening paranoid fears about home and safety become real.”
Ahead of its release, the film has already earned major acclaim at multiple festivals. It won the Audience Award at the Nashville Film Festival, the Special Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature at the deadCenter Film Festival, the Best Screenplay award at La Samhain du Cinéma Fantastique, and a Best Narrative Feature nomination at the Rome International Film Festival.
