‘Meg 2: The Trench’ Arrives to Purchase and Stream at

Giant prehistoric sharks are coming to streaming at home today. That’s right, ya’ll! Meg 2: The Trench is coming to Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play as well as a few others. This will allow you to either purchase the film for $24.99 or $19.99 for rental.

I’m not sure how many of you made it out to see Meg 2 while it was playing in theaters but it is a big ball of fun that doesn’t aim to do anything besides providing that fun. It has Jason Statham battling prehistoric creatures all while riding on Jet Ski.

The synopsis for Meg 2: The Trench goes like this:

Jonas Taylor leads a research team on an exploratory dive into the deepest depths of the ocean. Their voyage spirals into chaos when a malevolent mining operation threatens their mission and forces them into a high-stakes battle for survival. Pitted against colossal, prehistoric sharks and relentless environmental plunderers, they must outrun, outsmart and outswim their merciless predators.
