Carly Rae Jepsen has released her new song “Western Wind.” It comes with a music video shot by Taylor Fauntleroy in Southern California. Watch below.
Jepsen performed “Western Wind” at Coachella last month. The single is produced and co-written by Rostam Batmanglij, with whom Jepsen previously made E•mo•tion’s “Warm Blood.” The song has background vocals from Jepsen, Batmanglij, Julia Ross, and Angel Deradoorian. “Western Wind” is mixed by Shawn Everett.
Jepsen’s last album, Dedicated, came out in 2019. Afterward, she released Dedicated Side B and shared a handful of new singles, including “Me and the Boys in the Band,” the Mxmtoon collaboration “OK on Your Own,” and the holiday song “It’s Not Christmas Till Somebody Cries.”
