Eleven seasons of The Walking Dead have all led up to this. The final eight episodes of season 11. The epic season has been broken into three pieces. The big bad sneaky villain is none other than Lance Hornsby. So as we go into the final episodes we can see the chess pieces set up against the gang and the Commonwealth.
Any of our favorite characters could die at this point. Although some characters like Carol and Daryl may be safe due to possible franchise spin-offs in the future. However, everyone else could be up for grabs. The Walking Dead has never been good about killing off its central characters. The closest it got was killing Glen, but he wasn’t exactly one of the core at the time. Characters like Maggie, Rick, Michonne, Carol and especially Daryl have always been off-limits. So, it will be interesting to see how the final episodes treat some of those characters in the finale.
Of course, Rick and Michonne are off the menu since they are off having their own adventures at the moment that are soon to become a spin-off of their own as well.
The synopsis for the final Walking Dead episodes in season 11c goes like this:
“In the upcoming final episodes of The Walking Dead, threats lurk around every corner, dead and alive, as each group continues to get caught in uncontrollable situations. The looming pressure is cresting towards a day of reckoning for all. Will the sum of their individual journeys cumulate into one, or divide them forever?“
The Walking Dead returns with its final episodes beginning October 2.
