Jenna Ortega is grabbing a Golden Globes nomination for her role in Tim Burton’s Wednesday. The actress has been nominated for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. An absolutely incredible nomination for Ortega.

Ortega’s Wednesday began streaming over the Thanksgiving weekend and the series rose to streaming heights by hitting all kinds of records along the way. Millions of hours were streamed from multiple households in the first four days.

The synopsis for Wednesday goes like this:

The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.
