Alan Ritchson & Josh Duhamels Heartfelt Projects & More Netflix Releases This Week

Netflix’s new TV and movie releases for the week of July 20-July 26, 2026, include Ordinary Angels and Ransom Canyon’s second season.

On July 21, Ordinary Angels arrives on the streaming platform. Directed by Jon Gunn, it is inspired by a true story and the events that took place during the 1994 North American cold wave. The Alan Ritchson-led film focuses on a struggling hairdresser who finds a new sense of purpose after meeting a widowed father looking after his two daughters. As such, she decides to help the father save the life of his critically ill young daughter.

Also coming to Netflix is Ransom Canyon (Season 2) featuring Josh Duhamel. The new installment will begin six months after the events of the first season. Rancher Staten fights to reclaim his legacy after losing the trustee status of his family’s Double K Ranch. On the other hand, musician Quinn needs to decide where her heart truly belongs, whether it’s in the small town or the fast-paced New York City.
