Is Loki Star Returning in Avengers: Doomsday After That Encore TVA Scene? Actor Responds

A Loki star broke her silence on Hunter B-15’s future in the MCU after the latest post-credits tease. The actor shared whether fans should expect her back for Avengers: Doomsday.

Wunmi Mosaku on if she’ll be back after Deadpool & Wolverine

Wunmi Mosaku recently addressed her potential return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In an interview with ScreenRant, the actress shared her thoughts on reprising Hunter B-15 after Avengers Endgame: Encore’s TVA post-credits scene.

The Encore scene featured TVA employees Mobius, Ouroboros, Casey, Ralph, and Miss Minutes detecting multiple “incursions” between universes. This development directly teases the threat Doctor Doom poses in Avengers: Doomsday. However, Mosaku was notably absent from the scene despite leading the TVA.

When asked about returning for Doomsday, Mosaku revealed she had not seen Encore. She stated, “I haven’t seen it. I’m so sorry. I haven’t seen it. Should I have seen it? I don’t know if I’m returning. I don’t know what happened in the movie, but good to know I will watch it.”

Mosaku last portrayed Hunter B-15 in Deadpool & Wolverine. In that film, her character arrested rogue TVA employee Paradox after Wade Wilson and Logan defeated him. Before that, B-15 became the TVA’s new leader in the Loki series finale. She took charge after Loki destroyed the agency’s Loom and became the multiverse’s guardian.

The Encore post-credits scene featured Owen Wilson, Ke Huy Quan, Eugene Cordero, James Dryden, and Tara Strong. All five actors are expected to reprise their roles in Doomsday, though none have received official announcements. Mosaku, on the other hand, will evidently not be present for the film.

Avengers: Doomsday will require multiple superhero teams to unite against Doctor Doom. The Avengers, New Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, and “original” X-Men will all join forces. The storyline continues into 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars, which could still provide an opportunity for Hunter B-15’s return.

Doomsday opens in theaters on December 18.
