In an interview with Deadline, NBC and Peacock’s president of scripted content, Lisa Katz, offered an update on The Paper‘s Season 3 status. “We have a writers’ room that has been working for Season 3. It only launched a month ago, so it’s still newer, but we thought the second season was great,” Katz said. “The audience response and consumer response has been really good,” she added, noting that it’s “as good or better” than the first season numbers-wise. Katz also hinted at the possibility of bringing Season 2 of The Paper over to NBC like it did for Season 1 post-launch on Peacock.
