Brian Austin Green Tells MGK to ‘Grow Up’ After Megan Fox Split

Brian Austin Green has some tough words for Machine Gun Kelly after learning about the rapper’s recent split from Megan Fox.

“He’s in his 30s right?” the actor, 51, asked a TMZ reporter of MGK, 34, while out and about in Calabasas, California. “But in your 30s, I don’t know, grow up. Like you know she’s pregnant.”

Green confessed he “had no idea” that Fox, 38, and MGK (real name Colson Baker) had recently broken up. Before her relationship with MGK, Fox was married to Green from 2010 to 2021. The exes share sons Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7. (MGK, for his part, is the father of 15-year-old daughter Casie whom he welcomed from a previous relationship.)

“I just want the best for her,” Green said of his ex-wife. “I want the best for the baby. I want the best for our kids.”

News broke earlier this week that Fox and MGK called it quits in late November. That same month, the actress announced she is pregnant and expecting a rainbow baby with MGK. (Fox previously shared that she suffered a miscarriage.)

Green shared that it was “a shame” that Fox and MGK were going through a breakup during her pregnancy.

“I’m heartbroken about it,” he said. “Because I know she’s been so excited and the kids are so excited for life and the change and all of that.”

Green added that the ordeal is “a tragic situation” and that he “wouldn’t wish that on anybody.”

“I hope that the best outcome that could possibly happen happens for her and for the baby and for our kids,” he said.

Green and his fiancée Sharna Burgess have expressed their excitement for Fox’s pregnancy news. Burgess, who shares 2-year-old son Zane with Green, reposted Fox’s baby announcement on social media with some words of support.

“Welcome little one, we are all so excited to meet you,” the Dancing With the Stars alum, 39, wrote via her Instagram Stories in November. “Congratulations Mama.”

While Fox’s pregnancy has been happy news, the New Girl alum and MGK had their fair share of ups and downs since the public announcement.

“Megan and MGK have broken up several times since the pregnancy was announced. This was just one of the bigger ones that people have heard about,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “Their relationship is so full of passion and that leads them to get back together over and over, but also to fight in the most toxic of ways.”

The insider added that the pair’s arguments “have gotten less intense” since MGK is sober. However, they continue to have a “hard time” maintaining a “stable relationship.”

An additional source told Us that the twosome’s inner circle are hopeful that the baby will reunite Fox and MGK.

“It’s exactly what MGK needs to calm down and chill,” the insider explained. “It’s the best recipe for their relationship. … They are happy about it and it’s brought them closer together.”
