Ashley Benson is making a case for extreme cutouts. On April 12, the actor and former “Pretty Little Liars” star stepped out in a revealing LBD by Christopher Kane during a night out in Los Angeles. Completely open on both sides, the dress combined two current fashion trends: cutouts and the naked dress trend. “Hot mama,” Vanessa Hudgens said of Benson’s look on Instagram. Benson styled the figure-hugging silhouette with classic Christian Louboutin pointed-toe pumps and gold drop earrings that complemented her shimmering turquoise eyeshadow and glazed-doughnut manicure.
The centerpiece of Benson’s sleeveless dress was the set of bust-to-calf cutouts that dipped down either side of her waist. Each side of the piece was fitted with four gold bands to connect the front and back panels of fabric, which otherwise flowed freely as she strutted down the sidewalk. Benson committed to the look, opting not to wear anything underneath so as not to interrupt the revealing design. The ensemble, which gave a glimpse at her many tattoos, also featured plunging cutouts on either side of her shoulders, adorned with matching gold straps.
In September, Benson wore a similar look in New York City while celebrating her and Hudgens’s partnership with Thomas Ashbourne craft spirits. Benson’s asymmetrical Dundas minidress featured a single long sleeve, a thigh-high slit, and a side-to-back cutout stitched together by a crisscrossed gold chain. She styled the outfit with six-inch leather platform Versace boots.
