Princess Charlotte knows her royal etiquette.
The 7-year-old princess was seen adorably correcting her older brother, Prince George, during their family balcony appearance on the last day of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The moment happened Sunday, while they stood on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the Queen, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, and their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton. Their younger brother, Prince Louis, was also there, and became the subject of many a meme thanks to his hilariously dramatic expressions.
As the national anthem, “God Save the Queen,” played, George briefly placed his hand on the balcony ledge. Seeing that, Charlotte sweetly nudged her brother with her shoulder, per a video shared by People. George responded by quickly putting his arms by his side and fixing his posture.
A similar moment took place on Thursday, the first day of the Jubilee celebrations, when the three Cambridge kids rode in a carriage with mom Kate and Duchess Camilla for Trooping the Colour. As they rode through the parade, Prince Louis was seen waving continuously to the crowd, and at one point, Charlotte softly place her hand over his to make him stop. Still, Louis took up his waving again just moments later. See the video.
The Cambridge kids accompanied their parents to various events during the four-day Jubilee celebrations. On Saturday, Louis stayed home while George and Charlotte watched the star-studded BBC Platinum Party at the Palace concert with Kate and William. Charlotte looked adorable in a red dress, while George coordinated with his dad in a navy suit and tie.
