We saw them worn together with low-rise bootcut jeans and crop tops or rolled over sweatpants or sweatshorts with a shrunken zip-up hoodie. But it’s been years since I saw anyone properly wear the combo, let alone do so in a way that feels fresh and modern. Fortunately, that drought is over.
