Kylie Jenner is tired of misconceptions about her look!
The youngest of the KarJenner sisters appeared in a poignant role on Thursday’s new episode of The Kardashians. During her time on the hit Hulu show, the Kylie Skin mogul opened up about beauty misconceptions and pressure she faces in the public eye. Including, yes, a frank discussion about lip fillers and plastic surgery!

It started when Kylie sat down to help Kourtney Kardashian with makeup. During their work and convo, the 25-year-old influencer admitted to her older sis — and Khloé Kardashian, who was also in the room — that she is weighed down by the internet’s beauty expectations.
Kylie explained:
“I just feel like we have huge influence and what are we doing with our power? I just see so many young girls on the Internet now, like, fully editing. I went through that stage, too, and I feel like I’m in a better place, but other people can instill those insecurities in you.”
Khloé hopped in to respond, because as she admitted, the Hulu star has gone through insecurities of her own:
“I was chubby and in a skintight bodycon [contouring] dress and you couldn’t tell me otherwise. Society gave me those insecurities.”
Then, revealing the internet’s brutal back-and-forth on beauty standards, Khloé added:
“I’ve been torn apart from the minute I’ve gone on TV. I didn’t look like my sisters, so therefore, it’s not good enough. Then I started changing my look — you get better makeup, you get fillers, I had a nose job–— and there’s still people bullying you. Which one is it? You didn’t like me then, you don’t like me now.”
Seriously…
The key quote came from Kylie, who popped up in a cutaway confessional to reveal (or, re-reveal) how she “only got fillers” and hasn’t had any other work done on her face.
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul explained:
“One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face. That’s false. I only got fillers. I don’t want that to be part of my story. I always want everyone to just love themselves.”
Of course, that explanation would seem to echo things Kylie previously said back in April about only having fillers and nothing else. So, she is doubling down with that!

Meanwhile, Khloé went on to explain how momager Kris Jenner pushed her into a nose job after making “so many” comments about it. The Revenge Body host shared:
“Who knows if I never heard Mom talk about my nose if I would ever have thought I needed a nose job… Mom talked about my nose all the time.”
UGH!!
And then Kylie shared a source of insecurity she had in years past, too. Directing the criticism at Khloé and Kourtney, Kendall Jenner‘s younger sister said:
“You don’t realize how you guys always talked about my ears. … I received it like everyone was talking about my ears, [pulling them] and calling me Dopey. I never thought about my ears and then for, like, five years I never wore an updo.”
Oh, no!
Finally, after Kylie had daughter Stormi Webster, she came to terms with her ears. She explained to her sisters:
“[Stormi] had my ears and it made me realize how much I love them. I’m like, wow, I’m insecure about my ears, but I think my daughter is the most beautiful person ever. Now I wear an updo every carpet.”
And to cap it, Kylie offered these powerful words as a conclusion:
“You also have to realize that no matter what drama I’m going through on social media, I have such a beautiful personal life. I have the best kids, I have really amazing friends and family who know who I am. You have all these people close to you and understand exactly what you’re going through. I think that’s a beautiful thing. If this all went away tomorrow, I know that I have real love to fall back on. That’s all that really matters to me.”
