The following post contains SPOILERS for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Seriously. This is a spoiler warning. Those who fail to heed it will be banished out of the Sacred Timeline forever.
Pretty much all of Marvel’s movies are jam-packed with Easter eggs and references to previous films, comic books, and now TV shows. But Spider-Man: No Way Home is a rare case, in that it’s not only the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s also Sony’s eighth live-action Spider-Man movie, and for the first time, all the previous movies connect to the new one, thanks to the concept of the “multiverse.” That means it can have even more Easter eggs, since it has two more movie universes — Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man franchise starring Tobey Maguire and Marc Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man series with Andrew Garfield — to reference.
And reference them it does. Amidst appearances by many alumni from those previous Spidey movie series and one of the most complicated plots in the entire MCU, No Way Home also finds time to honor and occasionally poke fun at the Friendly Neighborhood Web-Slinger’s long history both on and off-screen. Here, now are all of the coolest Marvel Easter eggs in Spider-Man: No Way Home…
