The lineup for the 2023 edition of Portola Music Festival in San Francisco, California, has been announced. This year’s headliners are Skrillex and Eric Prydz Presents Holo. Other notable inclusions are Todd Terje (playing his first DJ set in the United States since 2016), Jai Paul, Underworld, Nelly Furtado, Labrinth, Overmono, and Flying Lotus. The festival will take place at Pier 80 on September 30 and October 1. Check out the poster below.
The two-day festival also includes performances by Hot Chip, Thundercat, Rina Sawayama, Little Simz, Major Lazer, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, and Avalon Emerson. Rounding out the lineup are Kavinsky, Jockstrap, Pabllo Vittar, Yeule, DJ Koze, Jon Hopkins, and Model/Actriz, among others.
Back in February, Skrillex released two brand new albums outside his trademark EDM wheelhouse: Quest for Fire and Don’t Get Too Close. He rode that wave all the way to Coachella where he, Four Tet, and Fred Again.. closed out the second weekend of the festival after Frank Ocean abruptly canceled his second headlining set.
