In a modern world full of famous faces and living legends, who would’ve thought that one of the beauty industry’s ultimate influencers would be a 12-inch doll? Since her debut in 1959, Barbie has served as a beauty icon and an inspiration to millions — with countless cosmetics collaborations to show for it. And when she’s not starring in beauty campaigns, she’s lent her good looks to celebrities like Beyoncé for Halloween costumes, and Kacey Musgraves for the Camp-themed Met Gala in 2019.

She is the moment. And this summer, she’s giving our makeup bags a Barbiecore makeover.
