Once again The Boulet Brothers managed to get the blood pumping in this old, dead heart. By reaching all the way back to the 1900s they have captured the spirit of the horror specials of my youth. They then trapped that spirit in a small cage and charged me five bucks a month for visitation rights. It is worth every penny.
In a stunning display of creativity, The Boulet Brothers jam gothic horror, a Nineties sitcom, and murder into a single skit. Not only that, the timeless Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) shows us what to do with troubled teensat Camp Happy Trail.
For those of us that think the cooking channel could use a little more spice. The magnificent Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator) serves as the cannibalistic cook. Speaking of spice, Matthew Lillard (Scream) shows us the dangers of hookup culture.
Between the dancers from hell, Melissa Befierce, Kendra Onixxx, and Koco Caine, an appearance from Kevin Smith (Clerks), and crazed ramblings about ravioli, this show has carved a gaping hole into my heart.
Wrapping all of this up in a bloody bow are our queens of horror themselves, The Boulet Brothers! Their siren song led me into a deep trance-like state as they performed. Forcing me to let fall my lower-middle-class carbs and give them the attention they so rightly deserve.
