There are a lot of alien characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. (Is Thor an alien? I think so, right? He’s a god, but he’s also kind of an alien? I’m already getting off track.) In my mind, the most alien alien, the most convincing being from another planet is Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster from Thor: Ragnarok. He’s just so casually weird with his miurder staffs and space DJ equipment and his funny way of saying “Asgard” (and then chuckling to himself at his oddball pronunciation). Goldblum’s little take after he says “Time works real different around these parts. On any other world I’d be like millions of the years old, but here on Sakaar…” is a work of art.
