Fashion catsuits have made quite the comeback, with houses like Prada, LaQuan Smith, Balenciaga, and Mugler, most famously, dressing stars in different iterations of the bold, body-hugging statement piece. To kick off her “Future Nostalgia” tour in Miami on Wednesday evening, Dua Lipa wore a lingerie-like catsuit with built-in boots in vibrant a shade of neon green: a creation custom-made by Balenciaga.
Her stylist Lorenzo Posocco added matching arm-length gloves featuring the same lace detailing from the suit, as well as diamond-embellished earrings from EÉRA to the look. While not very practical, catsuits have lately been a favorite of Lipa’s, as she previously wore a similar lace LaQuan Smith suit at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and more recently, a Versace number while posing on Instagram.
During the show, Lipa wore another extremely fitted custom catsuit — this one from Mugler — in addition to Marine Serre tights and short-shorts. Ahead, get a closer look at the singer’s striking return to the stage.
