In March 2022, Netflix unceremoniously debuted Adam Berg’s post-apocalyptic thriller Black Crab starring the indomitable genre heavyweight Noomi Rapace (otherwise known as the best thing about Prometheus). Now the thriller is a top-charting film on the Netflix charts, and fans across the internet are sharing their feedback.
While it didn’t make much of a splash at the time, almost a year after release, the movie has skyrocketed up the Netflix Top 10 charts for films outside of the English Language.
Check out the trailer for Black Crab on Netflix:
Here’s the Netflix synopsis for the film:
To end an apocalyptic war and save her daughter, a reluctant soldier embarks on a desperate mission to cross a frozen sea carrying top-secret cargo.
While it follows the expected post-apocalyptic beats, Black Crab is elevated by Rapace’s intrepid and deeply physical performance and some truly stunning icescape imagery. It’s a thrilling and contained quest that has the requisite ingredients to satisfy audiences looking for something a little different in their world-ending media.

Watching Black Crab on Netflix. This theme of wars so attritive that eventually civilians are the only soldiers left has always been horrifying yet intriguing to me.

Netflix’s “Black Crab” has the most Scandinavian plot ever: “You must skate 100 miles to save your people.”
The Aussie equivalent: “You must drink your way through an army of boxing kangaroos.”
What about where you’re from?

I watched the movie “Black Crab,” and it sparked or, to put it another way, acted out the ideas I already had about war.
In the movie, people had weapons and crazy artillery but was starving to death.
War is an ideology that only benefits the progenitors.

Black crab was good. I feel its a standard military movie. But i liked the way they traversed to get to the destination
