Godflesh have shared the first new song off their forthcoming album, Purge. Justin K. Broadrick and Ben Green’s new one is called “Nero.” They’ve also announced a North American tour, which includes dates in June, July, and September. Find those dates and check out the new song below.
“Nero, as a symbol and reminder of irresponsible self destruction as being practiced always, now and forever,” Broadrick said in a statement. “In classic Godflesh tradition, three self-reinterpretations are presented, to display the many sides of the same coin.”
Purge, the first new Godflesh album since 2017’s Post Self, is out June 9 via Avalanche.
