‘Nosferatu’ Can’t Make ‘Sonic’ Dash Away From First Place

The year is almost over and thus the theatrical horror cycle. We have got one left and that’s Nosferatu opening on Christmas Day. But don’t be sad, January is filled with horror releases and we can’t wait to see them, well, most of them.

Movie Insider is a great resource for seeing what is on the cinematic horizon, and we have culled through the list of their January titles to see what awaits horror fans in the first month of 2025.

The biggest one is Universal’s Wolf Man, but that isn’t until January 17. Before and after that there are some offerings that look pretty cool including Survive and The Monster Beneath Us. And of course, there are some that don’t look as spectacular. But art is subjective, so if you want to see a dinosaur and an alligator hybrid terrorize people in CGI and green screen, there is something for you too.

This year has been a stellar one for horror fans, we will have to wait and see if 2025 follows suit. Until then, watch the trailers below and tell us if any will be added to your watchlist.
