Ray BurmistonBBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers have praised Ugo Monye for his dedication to performing during tonight’s (September 25) debut live show, after revealing he had sadly attended his father’s funeral the same morning.Ugo confirmed earlier this month that his father had passed away from prostate cancer, and stated following his performance of a high-energy samba with his partner Oti Mabuse tonight that, though it was a sad day, he felt it was a way to help him celebrate his father’s life.Speaking to host Claudia Winkleman following his performance, Ugo revealed that he wanted to dedicate the dance to his late father.
