If you’re feeling a bit of déjà vu withThe View this week, there’s a reason: The show is on temporary hiatus throughout this entire week, beginning Monday (June 29), and instead of airing new episodes, ABC is rebroadcasting previously aired segments. Why? It is currently on break for the Fourth of July holidays, and all six cohosts are off this week.
Airing on Monday (June 29) in place of a new episode is the June 16 episode ofThe View featuring Vice President JD Vance. The episode featured the veep fielding questions from the cohosts about the second Donald Trump administration’s actions (or lack thereof) on issues like affordability, the Iran War, and the Jeffrey Epstein files. ABC touted the initial ratings for this episode as its most-watched telecast since November 2024.
Airing on Tuesday (June 30) is the May 20 episode featuring Keke Palmer (promoting I Love Boosters and Baby, This Is Keke Palmer) and Billy Eichner (talking about his book Billy on Billy). Then, on Wednesday (July 1), The View‘s June 2 episode with former first lady Jill Biden (discussing her memoir,View From the East Wing: A Memoir) will air as an encore. Thursday’s (July 2) spot will be filled with the May 21 episode featuring LaKeith Stanfield (also for I Love Boosters). And Friday’s (July 3) rebroadcast will be the June 17 episode with an interview of Sam Worthington (I Will Find You).
